Art4Healing 2022
Art4Healing 2022 was a hybrid fundraiser consisting of a live event, online art auction and raffle draw. The event, held at The Gumbramorra Hall at Addison Road Community Centre, aimed to raise funds for WJN’s youth programs, Healing From Within and My Way Youth Mentoring. The event was made possible by the generous arts community who donated their artwork to be auctioned and the business community who donated prizes for our raffle draw. We also acknowledge the contribution of the women in prison who created artwork specifically for the event.

Your choice to be an agent of change means you will be helping women and girls like those appearing in these videos.
Watch how the guidance and support of their girl’s participation in the Mentors helped Fran and Ally to rebuild their lives after exiting prison. They are now members of The Women’s Justice Network’s lived experience Advisory Panel and are helping to shape change for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
“I want to share a video where I discuss my lived experience, my mission to help young women like myself and how this desire shaped the Healing from Within Program by creating a safe space for young women and girls impacted by the juvenile justice system and ‘at risk’ girls in the community.”
– Ally, former Healing From With Group Facilitator
